Six-time Emmy nominee Sam Waterston stars as ACN news division president "Charlie Skinner" on HBO series The Newsroom. He is widely recognized for his role as "Jack McCoy" on the long-running criminal investigation series Law & Order. In addition, Waterston has appeared in a variety of big screen films including: The Man in the Moon, Lincoln, Savages, The Great Gatsby (1974), Capricorn One, Heaven's Gate, Hopscotch, and The Killing Fields, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor.
