The Give Back-ular Spectacular!

On October 25, join a group of prominent industry pros for a night of comedy, music, games and surprises to raise funds for colleagues affected by the work stoppage from the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes.

At a moment when many dedicated and talented television professionals are facing significant challenges due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, a group of performers, writers, directors and producers have joined together to stage The Give Back-ular Spectacular!, a live event to raise emergency relief funds for both union and non-union crew members in need.

The Give Back-ular Spectacular! will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, October 25, at the historic Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

The organizers and producers of this unique event are writer-producer Marta Kauffman (Friends, Grace and Frankie), actor-director Paul McCrane (ER, All Rise) and actor-writer-producer Paul Scheer (The League, Fresh Off the Boat), in association with The Union Solidarity Coalition and lots of exceptional volunteer writers, producers, performers and crew.

Aid will be distributed through a special account at the Motion Picture & Television Fund, and everyone from PAs to office staff to Teamsters, IATSE and LiUNA members will be eligible.

"The strikes have created significant hardship for crew members," McCrane says. "We're trying to do something about that."

The event, he adds, will bring together "a collective of insanely talented performers who will blow you away with an incredible array of comedy, music, games and surprises — mostly unrehearsed! You will never see this lineup in a performance of this kind again."

The current lineup includes Jason Alexander, Kristen Bell, Halle Berry, Jack Black, Rachel Bloom, LeVar Burton, Nicole Byer, Monet X. Change, Bryan Cranston, Lindsay Dougherty, Janelle James, Lawrence the Band, Lil Dicky, Michel McKean, Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, Penn & Teller, Ray Romano, June Diane Raphael, Sam Richardson, Andrea Savage, Paul Scheer, Dax Shepard, Lily Tomlin, Julian Velard and Jeremy Allen White.
