With a career that has spanned 5 decades, he has appeared in a number of movies, television shows, and theatrical productions. Voight is known for a variety of roles including Jim Phelps in Mission Impossible, Nate in Heat, Defense Secretary John Keller in Transformers, and as Ed in Deliverance.

Voight starred as Jonas Hodges in season 7 of 24 alongside Kiefer Sutherland. He has also held roles on such shows as Return to Lonesome Dove, Lone Star, and Gunsmoke.
