Charles Gregory Ross

Charles Gregory Ross was an American film and television hairstylist.

Ross contributed to the hair department on the films Remember the Titans (2000), Drumline (2002), Idlewood (2006), Pride (2007), and All Eyez on Me (2017). He was also the hair department head on the television series Close to Home, Red Band Society, and Survivor’s Remorse.

Ross often worked with Tyler Perry, serving as the head hair stylist on films such as Meet the Browns (2008) and The Family that Prays (2008), the series House of Payne, and he was part of the Oscar winning team for the film Vice (2018), where he was Perry’s personal hairstylist.

In 2005, he shared a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Hairstyling for a Miniseries, Movie, or a Special for his work on Lackawanna Blues.

Ross died April 8, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia.  He was 91.
