How He Got the Gold: For outstanding sound mixing for a comedy or drama series (one hour) in 2012, 2015, 2016, 2018 and 2019 for Game of Thrones, and for outstanding sound mixing for a comedy or drama series (half-hour) and animation in 2022, for Only Murders in the Building.

Now for the Noms: Waters has been nominated ten times.

Rad Dad: "Bringing my kids to the Emmy Awards is my favorite memory. It is such an amazing experience, and such a fun party. I was so thankful that I could share it with them. I am proud to have had the chance to be recognized by the Academy and my peers."

Heavy Metal: "The Emmy statuettes inspire me, and I love showing them to friends who come over. They are always surprised by how much they weigh."

Fountain of Youth: "The best part about my job is that it changes constantly, and I get to work with such talented people. I work in the most amazing offices — a mix stage — and help tell a story with sounds. I learn something new every day. It keeps me young!"

Super Suit: "I did commit to buying a tux, and I love when I can wear it. Dressing up should never get old, I say!"
