Serving over 20,000 members, the Television Academy is devoted to the advancement of telecommunication arts and sciences and to fostering creative leadership in the television industry.
New Look. New Vision. New Destination.
The fascinating story
As we celebrate the Television Academy's 70th Anniversary, our incredible medium has arrived at a critical point in its evolution. With new platforms and so many new possibilities, there are many exciting directions to explore at once.
To address these needs, the Television Academy made a spectacular investment in the future — the New Destination Campaign — that has modernized our campus and will endow our Foundation. Our reimagined campus, including our new Saban Media Center and state-of-the-art Wolf Theatre opened on June 2, 2016. The multi-purpose facility, with its theatre, conference center, production and editing labs, and a suite of offices for the good work of our Foundation, has been completed, thanks to the generosity of our Founding Sponsors. The New Destination campaign continues with the goal of growing the Foundation's endowment, which will increase our educational outreach to deserving young people who want to work — and innovate — in television.
