Me and My Emmy: Jennifer Lane

The executive producer enjoys working in an environment where love and acceptance is on full display.

Primetime Emmy Tally: Four

How She Got the Gold: As executive producer of Queer Eye, which won Outstanding Structured Reality Program in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Now for the Noms: Lane has won each time she was nominated.

Swanky Soirée: "Going to the Emmy Awards is a thrill, and it starts on the enormous red carpet. It really does feel like you're a part of Hollywood — famous faces, shiny things and flashbulbs. Being in a sea of people you either love or would like to meet, looking their very best — that's a party."

Display Case: "I keep my Emmys discreetly visible in my office. As much as they make me proud, they make me even more humble. How did this happen? What can I do next to deserve it?"

On Authenticity: "At Queer Eye, we get to experience over and over again how nice it is to be loved and accepted for who you are. The Fab 5 do this as hosts, and that's not orchestrated by producers. That's the real deal, and it feels good to be around."

Many Mentors: "Being acknowledged by your peers is incredibly special. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for so many Academy members who taught me well and supported me, especially at Scout Productions, ITV and Netflix."
