The Craft of Documentary: The Role of the Archival Producer

Archives often provide anchors for some of the most impactful documentaries, and uncovering or accessing them is a unique craft. Join us for this insightful exploration of the role of the archival producer, whose foundational responsibilities are crucial to the success of documentary storytelling. We will also introduce and highlight the initiatives of the Archival Producers Alliance, an organization founded in 2023 with the mission of creating community and developing best practices around their highly specialized role within the television industry.
