Screening Room Program Policies and Guidelines

We value your participation in the Television Academy Screening Room program and want you (and your guests) to have an exceptional Screening Room viewing experience. The following guidelines have been prepared for your reference.


Location: All showings are held at the Television Academy campus at 5210 Lankershim, North Hollywood, CA in the Wolf Theatre at the Saban Media Center (Google Maps).

Admission:
Theatre Doors Will Open 30 Minutes Prior To Each Film. Seating is first come, first served. Screening Room membership is non-transferable.

Extra Guests:
Your participation in Screening Room includes yourself and one guest. Two additional guests are permitted at the cost of $5.00 each. You and your guests must check in together.

Minors:
Infants and toddlers are not permitted in the theatre. Older children must remain in their seats for the duration of the showing and not disturb members seated nearby; otherwise, they will be asked to leave the theatre. Screening Room content will be varied and include an array of MPAA ratings and Television Parental Guidelines. Permitting children to attend is at the discretion of the accompanying parent or guardian.

No Smoking, Food or Drinks:
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the theatre or restrooms. Food, drinks, gum, candy, etc. are not permitted in the theatre, including bottled water.

Parking:
Parking is available in the onsite 4-story Academy parking structure, east of the Saban Media Center, for $7 per car.Credit cards and cash accepted. If using cash, please have exact change.

Please note: There is no parking in the loading zone in front of the Saban Media Center. Cars parked there will be towed. Click here for other parking options.

Time Changes:
Please refer to Screening Room or your monthly email for Screening Room updates.

Cell Phones:
Cell phones must be turned off or set to vibrate mode. No texting is allowed during screenings. 

COVID Policy(updated 1.24.23)

Proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test is no longer required for entry to Academy events.

We strongly urge members and their guests who are feeling ill or exhibiting symptoms of illness to please stay home. Though face masks are no longer required inside the Saban Media Center, masks will be available for guests who wish to use them.

The Television Academy reserves the right to change this policy at any time.

NOTE: Partner and third party events, including FYC events, may be subject to different requirements.

Additional Guidelines:

We expect all members and guests to behave respectfully and adhere to these Screening Room program guidelines when in attendance. In the event there is a disturbance, we ask that you let the Screening Room staff know and they will handle any issue that requires attention.

We also ask that you extend professional courtesy by remaining seated until all credits have rolled at the end of showings and to be respectful of your fellow Television Academy members.

The Television Academy reserves the right to impose a revocation of Screening Room participation pertaining to any member misconduct.

As a reminder, please do not bring DVD screeners to Screening Room events.
