Stanley Anderson was an American actor.
Well known to television fans for his role as Drew Carey's father "George Carey" on The Drew Carey Show, Anderson is perhaps best recognizable as Judge Arthur Vandelay, who presided over Jerry Seinfeld and friends’ criminal trial in the final episode of Seinfeld, where they were thrown in jail for violating the "Good Samaritan Law" in a fake town in Massachusetts.
His other TV guest appearances include L.A. Law, Chicago Hope, Just Shoot Me!, Judging Amy, The X-Files, Ally McBeal, Crossing Jordan, Law & Order, The Practice, and NYPD Blue.
