Scott Wilson was an American actor.

He had more than 50 film credits, including In the Heat of the Night (with Sidney Poitier), In Cold Blood (with Robert Blake), The New Centurions (with George C. Scott), The Great Gatsby (with Robert Redford), The Right Stuff (with Scott Glenn), Dead Man Walking (with Sean Penn), G.I. Jane (with Demi Moore), and Pearl Harbor (with Ben Affleck)

In 1980, Wilson received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture for his role in The Ninth Configuration (with Stacy Keach).

Wilson died October 6, 2018, in Los Angeles, California. He was 76.
