Richard Rosenbloom was a producer and television executive best known for his work on the popular 1980s CBS show Cagney & Lacey. He shared an Emmy nomination in 1983 for his work on the detective series, which starred Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly as the title characters.

He would earn two more Emmy Award nominations; ten years before, for producing the television movie musical Applause in 1973 starring Lauren Bacall and Larry Hagman, and ten years after, for producing the television miniseries Sinatra in 1993.

Rosenbloom joined CBS in New York, before moving to Southern California in 1960. He worked as an executive or a producer at MGM, Four Star Television, Filmways and Orion Pictures, retiring in 1994 as president of Orion Television.
