Lucia Gervino is currently at Amazon Studios overseeing their groundbreaking episodic, genre programming. This includes franchises The Lord of the Rings and The Wheel of Time, the highly anticipated Russo brothers project, and hit series The Boys and The Expanse. Lucia's successful Producing career spans the Creative, Production and Senior Executive ranks in Television, Digital, and Feature Films - both domestically and internationally. In the years before joining Amazon, Lucia served as Head of Production & Development and Executive Producer for Vision Entertainment - an Endeavour company - specializing in scripted and esports content creation. Prior to Vision, she was Head of Physical Production and Post at BET Networks, where had been recruited to grow the scripted division and oversee an extensive Post-Production facility expansion for Film, Television, Digital, and Social Media.

Much to Lucia's delight as a true Sci-Fi fan, she spent almost a decade as the Head of Production/Post at the Syfy Channel where she was responsible for over 220+ hours of original content annually. She started at Syfy as an Executive Producer working with her hero, Stan Lee. She then joined the in-house Syfy team as Director of Development, before being promoted up the ranks to Head of Production/Post. Lucia provided strategic direction, leadership, and oversight to the creative and production divisions of Syfy while the network underwent a rebrand and increased its original content exponentially during her tenure.

Lucia spent 4 amazing years at Rysher Entertainment managing both Feature Films and Scripted-episodic Television, including hit films: Kingpin, Private Parts, and Primal Fear; as well as long-running series Oz, Nash Bridges, Highlander, and many others.

She began her entertainment career working in A&R at A&M Records, then moved from Music to Films to become a Development Executive. She is a graduate of UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and English Literature, and is a published writer.

In addition to being a current Governor for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Lucia was Chair of the Academy Honors Awards for 4 years. She has also served on the Executive Committee, Budget Review Committee, and as Co-chair of the prestigious Governors' Award. She is a longtime member of BAFTA and the PGA.
