Larry Stenman

Larry Stenman was born on May 28, 1934 in Helsinki, Finland. After emigrating to the United States in 1956, Larry went on to become a Emmy-winning cameraman for ABC Sports and Entertainment, earning two of his four Emmy nominations in his coverage of the 1976 Summer Olympic Games in Montreal Canada and the Academy Awards show in Los Angeles, CA.

Larry was also an avid golfer and was one of the first cameramen to cover professional golf with a handheld camera on his shoulder weighing over 75 pounds, and was the only camera operator that Gary Player would allow to shoot him during a PGA or USGA event.
