Konstantin Thoeren

Konstantin Thoeren was a German producer and production manager.

Making early contacts in the film industry through his parents: actress Erica Beer and screenwriter Robert Thoeren, he started out as a production manager in the early 1970s, working on feature films and documentaries.

Making early contacts in the film industry through his parents: actress Erica Beer and screenwriter Robert Thoeren, he started out as a production manager in the early 1970s, working on feature films and documentaries.

After the worldwide success of the film Lili Marleen (1981) Thoeren transitioned into television work producing Peter the Great (1986), Dr. M (1990), In Devil's Kitchen (1991), Catherine the Great (1995), Die Eisprinzessin (1996), Terror in the Mall (1998), Code Name: Eternity (1999), Contaminated Man (2000), The Enemy (2001), and Curse of the Ring (2004).

He shares a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Miniseries for his work on Peter the Great.

Thoeren died March 1, 2019, in Germany. He was 70.
