Edward S. Feldman

Edward S. Feldman was an American film and television producer.

Feldman broke into the entertainment business working at 20th Century Fox as a writer in the studio's press book department in New York. In 1959, after a stint in the Air Force, he left Fox to promote The World of Suzie Wong (with William Holden and Nancy Kwan) for Paramount, and later joined Embassy Pictures as the head of advertising and publicity.

He received an Academy Award nomination as producer of Witness (1985), which starred Harrison Ford. Feldman reunited with Ford on 2002's K-19: The Widowmaker, Feldman's final film.

Feldman's other film credits include The Other Side of the Mountain (1975), Two-Minute Warning (1976), Near Dark (1987), Hot Dog…The Movie (1984), Wired (1989), Green Card (1990), The Doctor (1991), Forever Young (1992), and Honey, I Blew Up the Kid (1992).

His TV producing credits include Charles & Diana: A Royal Love Story, 21 Hours at Munich, and King, the latter two earning Emmy nominations.

Feldman died October 2, 2020, in Los Angeles, California. He was 91.
