Don Rickles was an American comedian and actor. The iconic insult comic was also an actor who played both comedic and dramatic roles on film.

Rickles was also an honorary Rat Pack member and friend of Frank Sinatra, and was a regular celebrity roast guest.

He appeared frequently on television, including roles on the series M Squad, The Twilight Zone, The Addams Family, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Burke’s Law, The Munsters, The Beverly Hillbillies, The Andy Griffith Show, Gilligan’s Island, The Lucy Show, I Dream of Jeannie, Get Smart, The Bob Hope Show, Sanford and Son, Archie Bunker’s Place, Newhart, The Larry Sanders Show, Murphy Brown and The Bernie Mac Show. He also starred in the series CPO Sharkey and Daddy Dearest, as well as two different series both named The Don Rickles Show.

Additionally, Rickles appeared in films including The Rat Race, Pajama Party, Beach Blanket Bingo and Casino, and he voiced the character of Mr. Potato Head in the popular Disney-Pixar Toy Story films.

Rickles died April 6, 2017, in Los Angeles. He was 90.
