David Lavin
David Lavin was an American television executive.
Lavin had been senior vice president of business affairs at CBS Television Studios since 2004, handling shows including the NCIS franchise, and Star Trek: Discovery.
Lavin also oversaw the studio’s business affairs for development and production at The CW and CBS All Access.
He previously served as head of business affairs at Viacom Productions and served as a lecturer at Carnegie Mellon University.
Lavin died June 6, 2018, in Los Angeles, California. He was 57.
