Prior to Fargo, Hanks played Travis Marshall, the Doomsday Killer, on the sixth season of Dexter, Father John Gill on Mad Men, Allison in the popular web series Burning Love and Alex Whitman on Roswell.

He was also part of Steven Spielberg’s acclaimed miniseries Band of Brothers. Hanks's other television credits include The Good Guys, NCIS and Numb3rs.
