Charles Lisanby was an American production designer who helped define scenic design in early color television. During his career, he was nominated for sixteen Emmys and won three.

His other notable credits included Julie and Carol at Carnegie HallOnce Upon a Mattress and Mitzi … A Tribute to the American Housewife, as well as specials starring Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross, Alan King, Bill Cosby and Bob Hope.

Charles Lisanby was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 2010.
