Allan Cole was an American television writer and author.
Cole worked as a journalist for 14 years, taking on jobs at several Los Angeles-area newspapers, including the Inglewood Daily News, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, and the Santa Monica Outlook, where he was city editor and national news editor.
As an author, Cole was probably best known for writing (with writing partner Chris Bunch) The Sten Chronicles, a series of eight military science fiction novels published from 1982 to 1993.

Cole died March 29, 2019, in Boca Raton, Florida. He was 75.
