Mindy Project star Mindy Kaling and Carson Daly of The Voice are set to reveal this year's 66th Primetime Emmy Award nominations — live on Emmys.com on Thursday morning, July 10 at 8:40 a.m. Eastern/5:40 a.m. Pacific.

Television Academy chairman/CEO Bruce Rosenblum will also join Kaling and Daly for the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards nominations announcement ceremony, which will take place at the Television Academy's Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood's NoHo Arts District. Spike Jones, Jr. returns to produce this year's nominations ceremony.

Nominating ballots were posted on the Television Academy's website and first–time online voting commenced on June 9. The deadline for voting in this first round to determine nominees is June 20. More than 16,000 voting members of the Academy have been able to take part.

Nominations announcement ceremony co-host Carson Daly is a pioneer of pop culture across media, including network television, radio, the recording industry and digital. Daly will next host and produce his seventh season of Emmy-winning NBC series The Voice, which returns on Monday, September 22.

This past fall, Carson began another role as co-host of the Today show. Plus Daly's long-running late night NBC series, Last Call with Carson Daly, is currently in its thirteenth season, breaking hot bands and featuring guests from the worlds of entertainment, politics and sports. Daly also hosts the morning drive hours for Southern California radio station KAMP (97.1) Monday through Friday.

Actor, writer, producer, director and author Mindy Kaling stars as Dr. Mindy Lahiri in the FOX series The Mindy Project, which she also writes and executive-produces.

The critically-acclaimed comedy — centered around successful OB/GYN Lahiri, whose love of romantic comedies is wreaking havoc on her personal life — was nominated for a 2013 Writers Guild Award. In 2014, Kaling and the show earned comedy award noms from the Television Critics Association, plus the actress garnered an NAACP Image Award nomination. Prior to Mindy Project, the TV/film star was best known for her work on Emmy-winning series The Office.

Bold New Primetime Emmys Look Revealed

Also today, the Television Academy unveiled striking new key art for the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards season—including new website graphics embodying this bold new look for the 68 days leading up to television's biggest night.

"Our key art is a departure from the previous decade in which the Emmy statuette only appeared in profile or three-quarter view," said Scott Buford, creative director for the Academy.

"This year, Emmy is shown in a forward-facing pose that is elegant, powerful and triumphant," Buford continued."The cobalt blue and violet aurora swirling around her draws all attention to the gleaming Emmy, in a dynamic, aspirational pose."

The key art will be utilized across multiple platforms including the Television Academy online destinations, advertisements, collateral materials and motion graphics. Media and other outlets looking to download the artwork should visit Emmys.com/Press.
