Crew Call: Napoleon and Tabitha D'umo

Our latest installment of Crew Call visits with husband-and-wife choreography team Napoleon and Tabitha D’umo, also known as "NappyTabs."

It was the love of dance that brought them together in college and that love has made them one of the most well known duos in the industry, winning Emmys in 2011 and 2014 for their lyrical hip hop style routines.

In their 20 year collaboration, they have developed a system that has worked beautifully through the 12 seasons of So You Think You Can Dance. Starting with music, adding the narrative, and finally putting the steps together, they work to find what is best for the project without egos getting in the way.

As Tabitha notes, "You get the best of both."
