American fashion icon, actor and television personality Timothy M. "Tim" Gunn is the on-air mentor to fashion designers on reality competition show Project Runway.

When Gunn's popularity soared on the Runway, Bravo created the spin-off Tim Gunn's Guide to Style — and Gunn penned the book A Guide to Quality, Taste and Style.

He also lends his talents to Disney Junior television show Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess, voicing the the castle's steward Baileywick.

Gunn served on the faculty of Parsons The New School for Design from 1982 to 2007 and served as chair of fashion design at the school from August 2000 to March 2007. He later joined Liz Claiborne as its chief creative officer.
