Frank Doubleday

Frank Doubleday was an American actor.

Doubleday often played creepy villains in both movies and television shows from the mid-1970s until the early 1990s.

His best-known film roles were as a ruthless gang member who kills a little girl, in 1976’s Assault on Precinct 13, and 1981’s Escape From New York, in which Doubleday played Romero, a henchman for the criminal overlord known as “The Duke” (played by Isaac Hayes).

Among the TV shows Doubleday made guest appearances on: Starsky and Hutch, Wonder Woman, Charlie's Angels, The Incredible Hulk, CHiPs, Hill Street Blues, and T.J. Hooker.
