Dale Walsh

Dale Walsh was a camera operator who worked on several series and specials for ABC for more than 20 years.

Walsh broke into television in the early 1970s with comedies that included Pat Paulsen's Half Hour Comedy Hour, Welcome Back, Kotter and Barney Miller.

In the years that followed, he went on to work on several other productions, including Fridays, the American Music Awards, the Academy Awards and General Hospital.

He also worked on game shows, including The Newlywed Game, Family Feud and Trivia Trap.

During his career, Walsh was nominated for seven Primetime Emmys and eight Daytime Emmys.

Walsh died August 24, 2014.
